The Gathering- Amy Bird

Acrylic on canvas

122cm x 91cm

Living on a farm just outside Inverell, I find inspiration in the everyday beauty of rural life. I work mostly in acrylics, but I also enjoy drawing and experimenting with pencil, charcoal, pastels and chalk on canvas.

My artworks move between abstract and realism, with a love of bright colour, portraits, animals and landscapes. I’m always learning and exploring new ways to express the places, people and moments that catch my attention. Through my art, I hope to share a simple appreciation for country life and the world around me.
