Sunset over the Pacific- Allen Blacklidge

A retired electrician, I’ve always been drawn to photographing the world around me. Working with my hands for so many years taught me to pay attention to detail, and that same instinct guides my eye behind the lens. I love exploring the natural world in all its wonder — the quiet interplay of light and shadow, the way colour shifts with the seasons, and the textures and shapes that emerge when you slow down and really look. My photography is about noticing those moments and sharing the beauty that’s already there, often hidden in plain sight.
