My practice explores abstracted landscapes shaped by memory, movement and a deep connection to place. Living and working in regional NSW, I draw inspiration from the shifting colours, textures and rhythms of the Australian landscape - particularly the Riverina. I paint intuitively, building layers with acrylics to create depth and movement. I am drawn to the space where structure meets looseness to create a suggestion and feeling of landscape rather than that of clearly defined one.
