My practice is an exploration of my own life and time in this world; working with both clay and canvas, I symbolise my daily reality, from paintings of gathered treasures representing place,to bright ceramic birds acknowledging love and emotional ties. I seek stories to illustrate- observations mundane or perhaps urgent passed down in half forgotten messages and relics. Whispered tales, flotsam and jetsam, small pieces of life gathered together and wondered at in the colourful chaos of my bit of time here.
