As a low vision artist I explore the relationships between colour, form and perception. My work is shaped by an individual way of seeing—one that invites me to interpret colour and form through both visual experience and personal perspective. Rather than seeing low vision as a limitation, I embrace it as an integral part of my creative practice. It encourages me to approach each artwork intuitively, responding to colour, shape, texture and composition in ways that are deeply personal and expressive. My work has been recognised through selection by Vision Australia for inclusion in their artists’ calendars in both 2025 and 2027. These opportunities have affirmed the value of my distinctive perspective and my contribution as an artist with low vision. Through my art, I invite viewers to consider that there is no single way of seeing. Each person brings their own experience and interpretation to colour and form, creating an individual visual language.
