Gabrielle Bisaro - Bisaro World 

Gabrielle Bisaro is a mixed media artist based in Port Macquarie.

Her practice has evolved over time from a strong foundation in watercolour and clay to a more recent focus on aerosol spray paint and acrylic markers. Through layering and blending pigment directly by hand she creates bold and striking compositions.

Her work is deeply influenced by Australian fauna and flora, drawing attention to both their resilience and vulnerability. More recently, she has shifted her focus toward the complex relationship between native ecosystems and invasive species. Alongside this, her work highlights threatened bird species at risk of extinction in Australia, aiming to bring greater awareness to the fragile state of the country’s biodiversity.
