Dish the Dirt - Kez Matterson

I came back to pottery after last using it in my year 12 art portfolio. I needed something creative to my give my brain some downtime. Since then I’ve found it is something I can’t really live without. It’s not only helped me find a way back from Burnout and PTSD but it’s helped me find a community and identity outside of my career. I regularly find myself deeply in a flow state and irrespective of what I make I absolutely love the process of discovery I am on. Rediscovering clay, discovering more about myself and finding my place in the local community where I can share ideas, successes and failures and the joy of creativity.
