A Sense of Place - Tayla Stevens

A3 x 2

 Graphite Pencil on Paper

My artwork reflects the rural environment I know and the values that have shaped my life. Through sketches of farm life, I have captured familiar places, animals and everyday moments. Four collections of images extend these ideas through themes of spirituality, family, memory and belonging. Each collection represents a different aspect of my personal experiences and the people and beliefs that are meaningful to me. I have used drawing and imagery to document these connections in a personal and reflective way.
