Joe's painting process, his choice of palette, brush strokes and gestural techniques with the palette knife add life, movement and light to his paintings is evoked by sensations from listening to varied music genres. His emotional response to these transcendent feelings is the source from which he achieves his interpretation of the landscape. Inspired by a group of self-taught artists the 'Brushmen of the Bush', Joe discovered distinctive techniques through experimentation and openness to new ideas and influences which has continuously evolved in an individualistic painting style.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0950/1560/0427/files/library-DCE5506E-E372-49BD-BBB6-9A609FC29CDE-L0-001.jpg?v=1792470865
