I work mostly with Acrylics but have recently started experimenting with Oils. Any subject that interests me I try to capture. My textiles creations over many years is beginning to have a more artistic feel. I manipulate fabrics and yarns, free motion machine embroidery, colour using not toxic, safe for the environment products implementing many techniques into my work.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn my former life I was a secondary school teacher in the Technical and Applied Studies area. I have many years experience facilitating learning for adolescents. I have always had a creative flair and enjoyed making projects in the field of textiles, sewing and designing, knitting and crochet. Producing food and developing skills and nutritional knowledge for students was also a part of that creative journey. I also volunteered many hours to the Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inverell Netball Association, Inverell Rural Fire Brigade and St John Ambulance and Community College training First Aid.
